Expanded HWM Group becomes Deep Pool Financial Solutions

Following its acquisition of KOGER’s assets, HWM announces a new name and rebranding initiative

DUBLIN – December 7th, 2021 – HWM Group, a dedicated investor services and regulatory solutions provider to alternative and retail fund administrators, today announced the new brand and identity, which is now rebranded as Deep Pool Financial Solutions. This new group will deliver unrivalled fund administration and transfer agency technology capabilities to both new and existing clients.

“While our name is new, our track record of success is not. We’ve been in the vanguard of the investor servicing and compliance technology industry for three decades,” said Roger Woolman, Chief Revenue Officer. “At Deep Pool, we dive as deep as we can – into the industry trends, the latest technology developments, and our clients’ opportunities and challenges, to create effective, accessible tools and solutions. Everything we do is driven by thorough examination, comprehensive commitment, and the desire to make a positive impact.”

Deep Pool brings together the two premier providers in the fund administration and transfer agency systems space through HWM Group’s acquisition of the assets of KOGER. Launched in 2006, HWM has become a recognized expert in alternative and traditional investment funds and regulatory compliance, with our solutions trusted by leading banks and fund administrators around the world. KOGER’s advanced investor servicing, compliance and business process management systems have been at the industry forefront since the company’s inception in 1994.

In April 2021, HWM Group announced that it had acquired the assets of KOGER, Inc. to create the world’s leading investor servicing and compliance technology solution supplier for the global fund administration industry. Lovell Minnick Partners, LLC, a private equity firm focused on investments in financial services, financial technology and related business services, funded the KOGER asset acquisition and took a majority stake in HWM Group as part of the deal.

“Deep Pool’s industry-leading offerings coupled with its experienced team of professionals position the combined company well for long-term, continued success,” said Steve Pierson, Managing Partner at Lovell Minnick. “We look forward to continuing our partnership and providing the necessary resources and strategic guidance to ensure Deep Pool is poised to strengthen its position as the best-in-class investor servicing and reg tech provider to many of the world’s largest banks and fund administrators.”

Moving forward, Deep Pool’s focus is on further enhancing the company’s capabilities to better serve a global client base. As part of this effort, the company will devote significant ongoing investment to developing deeper and broader product functionality across the investment lifecycle.
